For years I have searched for pens/pencils that completely erase on fabric. And I have a drawer full of them. About 3 years ago I was told about these pens from a friend. They do work!! when you hit it with a hot iron it completely erases all drawn lines on any fabric. They come in several different tips and colors I prefer the ball tipped ones.

No one has tried them with partial stitches??

JennBates Pilot Frixion is the name of these pens if you can't see the photo good. I can't say that I have seen these in any craft store, I purchase mine online. 5 years ago
