Approximately one year ago, we attempted to revive the social area of The Stitchers’ Village with a platform that seemed similar to what the site was previously. We had it up and running and invited former members to a trial run. Things seemed to be working. After about six months, the decision was made for a full launch. Before that was able to happen, some elements began misbehaving. Everything option was explored (in mour limited IT department), but as usual, the process to fix or update was going to be quite costly. You may have experienced the “upgrade to another level to get that done”. So, it has now been decided to have strictly a forum on the main site. Every attempt will be made to have some events. The core purpose of the social area has always been for members to interact rather than for TSV to dominate the conversation. That being said, I hope it doesn’t take too long for us to get back to sharing our project photos, finds, and etc. for our needle enthusiasm.
