This retreat is held each year by...Ok, I was asked to tell about the retreat I attended this weekend. A cross stitch retreat is alot of fun, I do not live in an area where I have any stitch buddies. This retreat is held each year by Katrina Boyd of Crossed Threads. It is real laid back and everyone just does their own thing. Some folks don't get retreats and wonder why you would drive many miles pay for a hotel just to sit and stitch, for me it is getting to spend time with "like minded people" and by visiting with these ladies I always learn something new, a new technique , a new designer, etc..... these people always hold a special place in my heart. And to get to see their work unfold on the fabric, and even though we stitch we all have different tastes in stitching. But most of all I love cross stitchers because we don't judge, some of us are skinny, or fat, or young or old, talented, some no so talented, some of us have a budget some don't, but we all support each other.Show more3 years ago
