This is not a real good photo. A little baby quilt I just finished and need to get off to the long arm quilter.

My husband bought me this little cording tool for Christmas, and after watching some online videos I learned how to use it to put cording around some of my finishes. And I have to say that you can cover up a multitude of mistakes with the cording. Some of the shown pieces here are some that I have stitched a few years ago and just now getting around to actually finishing them.
Has1cat I knew that one could make their own cording but did not know there was a tool for doing it. I should have guessed lol. Those are adorable. 2 weeks ago

This year Linen and Threads are hosting a SAL and the center design is this peacock surrounded by motifs that are released each month of this year. Because I thought is was so stunning and I had never stitched a peacock I wanted to stitch this all alone. I stitched on 18 count whimsical winter Aida by Under the Sea Fabrics and I believe the DMC thread I used was 3746. This piece was framed by me.
Has1cat What a wonderful job you did on it! I have a friend that loves anything with a peacock, she would be thrilled with something like that. I tend to think that adding motifs would detract from the... Show more 1 week ago

Wjbates798 Thanks Peg. Some of the ones I have seen on facebook are stunning with all the color threads they have now. I don't do much framing myself but have to say I think this turned out pretty good. 1 week ago

I am starting with June and going to try and post a small finish each month. This is a birthday card I stitched for my niece.

Great piece for a house on the lake!

This is an old Waxing Moon chart. I stitched this and gave it to my husband as a gift. It hangs in our camp house on the lake.
