I received this ATC from a member in an exchange (Peg). What is an ATC? ATC's are Artist Trading Cards. On TSV they include stitching. They are 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" creations that include the creator's name and information on the back and are "traded" in exchanges. These usuall are themed. We have several exchanges going on inm the Forum in The Stitchers' Village Community. Come on over and join in an exchange!
Received! #6 “Hacienda” by Meg Puente of Lindsay Lane Designs
“My village home would be sitting on the patio of my hacienda enjoying the company of friends, good food and the sound of water from a fountain.”
Be sure to join in The Stitchers’ Village Sampler Project by stitching a section and having it become part of the sampler. The sections have just started to arrive and are being posted to the web page. Click on each of the thumbnail images of the sections for information about who/what/where each piece originates! Information can be found HERE
My newest designs are all counted canvas as I have been having great fun with all of the stitches and the challenge of learning new stitches and techniques. With the adoption of the management of The Stitchers’ Village a little over a year ago, I have not had the time to devote to designing thay I would like. So, the inspiration of some new stitches was motivation. Here are two that are finalized – Welcome and Recycle
A third – Conserve – is nearly done (sneak peek below). These three are 5×7″ on 18 count canvas and use 3 colors of thread and the fourth, Flower Basket is off to the framer. It uses 5 colors and is 4×12″ on 18 count.
